What do I need in order to talk to Lebanon?
Download and run CallThere for iPhone if you don’t already have it. It doesn’t use your number but it needs location access so it can display the city you are calling from to the other party.

How do I call Lebanon?
Open CallThere on Sunday, tap on the Featured tab, and select Lebanon in the Countries category.

Is there a charge for calls?
No, calls are Free.

Is there a time limit on a call?
Yes. It was 5 minutes, but by poplar demand it’s now 10 minutes.

What are the hours I can call?
10 am to 10 PM Beirut time which is:
12 AM to 12 PM PST
3 AM to 3 PM EST

Who am I connected to when I call?
Talk To Lebanon connects you to a selected volunteer in Lebanon.

Can I call more than once?
Yes, you may call as many times as you want and speak with different people.

What if person who answers is rude and insulting?
You may end the call at any time, at which point you have the option of blocking that person so you are not connected to them again.

Is there an etiquette for answering calls?
Start by saying “Thank you for calling Lebanon” and let the caller speak. They typically have a question about Lebanon.

What if the caller is rude and insulting?
You can end a call any time, give them and thumbs down in the next screen, and you have the option of blocking them from reaching you again.

Do I have to answer calls all day?
No. You can take only one call or many calls. Completely up to you. If you don’t wish to receive calls, tap on “Do Not Disturb” in CallThere, and it won’t ring you. If you want to receive calls again, remember to turn off “Do Not Disturb”.
